BEYOND THE CRISIS

“Metà thv krisi” in greek means “beyond the crisis”. Stand over the crisis is the status of the objects that are habitual in our homes. Krisi word is polyvalent, indicates a state of indetermination from which this may have a consequence as well as its opposite. The thesis of this thematic and articulated through the experiments, is that the world of furniture has not been able to endure the crisis of meaning, since it belongs to the space of the consequences of a crisis, not to the crisis itself. The moment of uncertainty came when, at least ten thousand years ago, it poses an existential choice definitely sedentary. Objects are therefore normals, without a surplus of meaning, stable in comparison the heterodox formulations contained in the other thematics.
